The summer has flown by, its the last week of August and IJL in London is fast approaching. This time next week I will be on my way to set up for the opening on Sunday and probably be feeling pretty nervous.
I have been finishing off some new work for the show including these gorgeous small gold earrings which form part of my Lichen range. They will be the first piece to enter my collection which are entirely 18t gold and I am working towards a small but perfectly formed wedding collection for the more bohemian bride and groom. I just finished the necklace yesterday. Photos to follow.
We are pretty settled in our house and have had lots of visitors which is great now we have more room and can much more easily accommodate folks. We have been making the most of the ferry which runs from Flushing to Falmouth Flushing Ferry and occasionally I get to make jewellery deliveries using this fab little transport link when I visit Beside The Wave Gallery – Falmouth.
My studio has begun to take form and while not finished, it is a wonderful place to work with a very distracting view and its fair share of spiders!
