Exhibitions and exciting news
Hello,I hope you have managed to enjoy some of the glorious weather we have been having before the storm came through last night!! Bad timing for a bank holiday but the garden did need a soaking. We have been busy decorating and moving into our new home and I have moved studio and am now located in Flushing near Falmouth. The space is incredible with glorious views and heating for the colder months which is a bonus, the last studio was incredibly cold to work in in winter and not very conducive to getting things done.Open Studios starts today and runs until next Sunday so please come along and say hello, have a nosey at the new place and see what I have been working on, I have had a big shake up of all my branding and have finished a new collection of work to be launched next week at Bovey Tracey Contemporary Craft Festival. I was selected to exhibit in their StartUp tent of new designers and have been working really hard to create a central piece of work which will be really stand out and unusual, I am excited about this opportunity and really looking forward to getting feedback. To help me move forwards with my business, I have been awarded funding through the Cultivator programme at Krowji. Paul Nash has been doing some photography work for me (He is also doing Open Studios) which the funding is helping to pay for and the images are being used on my website and across my printed communications as well. The images are beautiful and will slowly start filtering into social media.I have also been awarded a very special place on a workshop and fair but for now, that has to remain secret! I will let you know in due course.I hope to see some of you over the next few weeks and look forward to sharing the exciting developments going forwards.Best wishes and happy bank holiday,
