Spring 2020, A Time To Remember
CoronaCreation, StayHome and other news!
As the nation seems to be turning to The Arts to help fill their time - National Theatre on YouTube, drawing lessons, kids activities and Joe Wicks, not to mention film, TV and music keeping us all entertained, the people like me, who run small creative businesses are finding new ways to work and to reach their customers.
As the galleries who stock my work have closed their doors for the time being, some have started online viewings and I have started to sell my work through my social media channels as well as through my new website. I’m taking part in #artistsupportpledge where, for every £1000 of sales I make, I pledge to buy another artists work to the value of £200. There is some amazing work on offer with many artists offering discounts.
I hope you enjoy these images, a little glimpse of how I have been filling my time for the past few weeks. I am mesmerised every day by how beautiful nature is with the unfurling growth and flowering. The insects are abundant and thank goodness the sun has been shining.
I hope you have been finding silver linings in these strange times and I wish you well. Stay safe.
