Textured silver Monolith ring, elemental textured design.

The texture of each ring is made using a process called reticulation. It has the feeling of weather worn stones and catches the light in an understated subtle way.

The precious stones are cabochon cut, smooth domes of your favourite colour to reflect your birth stone or maybe a place you love. They have been made as engagement rings and everyday rings, gifts and markers of beautiful occasions.

Reticulation is a process of heating and ‘pickling’ the silver a number of times until the surface turns liquid and the beautiful textures run and cool into unique forms. I hand form the shape into a wrap-over ring and finally, add the stone. I use sapphires, emeralds, rubies, tourmalines, peridots, london blue topaz and rhodolite garnets.
