Distinctive black and gold Mylor ring - organic handmade jewellery

Beautifully textured using Granddad’s old workshop hammers, the unique black and gold Mylor ring is raw, understated luxury. The sterling silver has been oxidised then polished back to reveal and accentuate the surface detail and 18ct gold elements. The design is inspired by the texture and forms of the rocky Cornish coastline around Mylor and Flushing, beautiful dry stonewalls and ancient craggy trees.

Each piece of silver and gold is hand cut, filed and textured before being soldered to the surface of the ring which is then oxidised to give the black background. I only make these to order at the moment as each one has to be made to size and cannot be re-sized.
