Textured silver and and mis-matched stone earrings.

The design of the mis-matched mini monolith earrings is inspired by the texture and forms of the rocky Cornish coastline around Mylor and Flushing and beautiful hand built dry stonewalls. These handcrafted, textured earrings speak of the details of our natural environment and the deeply rooted human connection to landscape. I want each piece to feel as precious as that pebble you curl your hand around and slip into your pocket as a reminder.

Dentritic Agate is characterised by iron oxide or manganese inclusions which look like seaweed or branching lichens. It is said to help you persevere and be more patient by creating a more peaceful environment.

Dendritic yellow opal also has manganese and iron inclusions that look like tendrils of moss or lichen that cover the rocks and trees in our rainforests. It has a strong organic energy helping with balance and clarity.

The inclusions in these stones remind me of seaweed and lichen forms just as the surface of the silver shows marks of the making process and the hands that formed it.
