Unique Peruvian blue opal cluster ring with handmade lichen inspired cluster, contemporary luxury jewellery

This ring is a really unique piece of jewellery, inspired by lichen forms and incorporating a stunning clear Peruvian Blue Opal with black dentritic forms. The silver is oxidised and will polish back as it is worn, highlighting the texture and reflecting the wearer.

Found only in the Andes in Peru, the faceted blue opal in this unique lichen cluster ring has beautiful dendritic details which is reminiscent of summer rock pools and holidays by the sea. It is set in a 9ct gold rub-over setting nestled next to a cluster of lichen inspired details. The oxidised silver band highlights the black inclusions in the Peruvian Blue Opal.

The colour of Peruvian Opal is said to look like the Caribbean sea but I think it looks very much like the coves around Cornwall in the summer when the sea turns a stunning turquoise and the rock pools team with life.
