Elegant Synthesis earrings, striking handmade jewellery

These distinctive open rectangle studs with lichen inspired drops are hand formed in silver to create Monolith shapes then textured using my Granddad’s old workshop hammers. Each earring is unique and the marks made during the process are left as a reminder of their handcrafted nature.

Whilst being the largest design in this range, the Synthesis open rectangle earrings are still light to wear. The elegant movement in the drops catches and reflects the light beautifully.

Synthesis meaning -  ‘The combining of separate elements or substances to form a coherent whole.’ This collection brings together the themes of Lichen and Monolith creating a strong visual design conveying the ideas of historic handworked craft and the human connection to place.
