Peruvian blue opal silver cluster ring with handmade lichen inspired cluster, jewellery inspired by nature.

This ring is a really beautiful piece of jewellery, inspired by lichen forms and showing off a stunning clear Peruvian Blue Opal with black dendritic forms. The silver is textured by the tools I use and will develop its own patina as it is worn, reflecting the wearer.

Found in the Andes in Peru, the faceted Peruvian blue opal in this silver cluster ring has beautiful dendritic details reminiscent of summer rock pools and holidays by the sea. It is set in a recycled silver rub-over setting nestled next to a cluster of lichen inspired details.

The colour of Peruvian Opal is said to look like the Caribbean sea but I think it looks very much like the coves around the Cornish coast in the summer when the sea turns a stunning turquoise and the rock pools team with life.
