Handmade textured silver link necklace with landscape Dendritic Opal

Like a misty morning landscape in winter, this Dendritic Opal is layered with spidery forms. The textured chain is hand formed from recycled Eco silver with alternate reticulated links and a handmade clasp.

Reticulation means heating and ‘pickling’ the sterling silver a number of times until the pure silver has come to the surface. Consequently, the silver starts to melt and run into beautiful forms reminiscent of sand moulded by water on beaches as the tide goes out. Each piece has a unique texture making these a truly one off piece.
