Elegant lichen brooch, distinctive understated jewellery.

The delicate Lichen brooch has been designed with a refined reference to lichen forms and textured using Granddad’s old workshop hammers. The sterling silver has been oxidised then lightly polished to reveal and accentuate the 18ct gold elements. I have used small silver rivets in this piece which hold the piece together, one is topped with a discrete 18ct gold detail. 

The brooch is light to wear and with its long handmade silver pin, would float on the surface of a light coloured jumper or jacket. The textured oxidized silver paired with 18ct gold has a luxurious yet understated feel.
