Inspired by standing stones and textured surfaces.

The design of the Mini Monolith earrings is inspired by the texture and forms of the rocky Cornish standing stone circles and beautiful hand built dry stonewalls. These handcrafted, textured earrings speak of the details of our natural environment and the deeply rooted human connection to landscape.

The earrings are balanced with solid pieces of reticulated silver. Reticulation means heating and ‘pickling’ the sterling silver a number of times (depletion guilding) until the pure silver has come to the surface. Consequently, the silver starts to melt and run into beautiful forms reminiscent of sand moulded by water on beaches as the tide goes out. Each piece has a unique texture making these a truly one off piece.

I want each piece to feel as precious as that pebble you curl your hand around and slip into your pocket as a reminder.
