Rare Peruvian blue opal oval pendant on silver chain.

LAST ONE REMAINING - Found only in the Andes in Peru, the high quality blue opal in these oval pendant necklaces is a rare and beautiful stone. The opals are mounted in silver rub over settings on 16 - 18 inch chains with handmade clasps. The Opals with black inclusions look great with oxidised silver chains to highlight the details in the stones.

The colour of the Peruvian Opal is said to look like the Caribbean sea but I think it looks very much like the coves around Cornwall in the summer when the sea turns a stunning turquoise and the rock pools team with life.
