Unique Peruvian opal tear drop ring, timeless and beautifully handcrafted.

Like a summer rock pool, this Peruvian opal ring will give you so much pleasure as a reminder of warm days and long sunny afternoons messing about at the beach.

The narrow textured silver band is formed using my Granddad’s workshop hammers and the setting is purposefully left to be simple to show off the tear shaped Peruvian Blue Opal at its best. The back of the setting has a simple texture inspired by the texture of the beach as the tide recedes.

Peruvian Blue Opals are only found in the Andes in Peru and are therefore quite rare. I have chosen stones with coloured inclusions in them which look to me like rock pools in summer.
